I wanted to share the reasons IQAccountant built the REACTR platform for data and analytics. Here are a few reasons:
✔ Bridge the data-value divide between ERP data and ERP information.
✔ Validate two decades of expertise in implementing and supporting better data and reporting.
✔ Build cost-effective data and analytics solutions using the Microsoft Power BI Service.
✔ Get out of our comfort zone and disrupt ERP data.
The first data issue we disrupted was cashflow metrics because of my prior expertise in building cash flow reports using other ERP tools and the realization that using ledger data was not ideal because of the following reasons:
✔ Cash activity comes from a multitude of “data silos” with no clear way to integrate the detailed data.
✔ Entities that rely on annual cash control budgets cannot manage actuals against the detailed budget line.
✔ Lack of cashflow data insights because transactional data is not engineered for analytics and it is complex and technical.
As it turned out, the cash flow metrics solution allowed us to build a data and analytics “template” and now we offer the REACTR platform for all data and analytics requirements including custom solutions.
